What you receive

Consistent: terminology and translation choices fixed once, applied throughout. Accurate: translated the way professional translators work, then revised separately.
Verifiable: a verdict on the translation, the grounds for it, and the terminology used as its appendix. It also sets out how quality was assured, point by point.

How it works
Tell us about your document and requirements. We assess them and agree on scope and delivery with you.
Optional pre-check: before we translate, our Pre-Translation Report asks for your input on ambiguities in your source, flags any errors and shows how we plan to translate your key terms. You reply, and we proceed.
Your document passes through the four roles of a professional translation team. All four share a context map of the whole document. Each has its own instructions and builds on the work of the one before.
Translator, reviser and quality assessor also apply the language pair’s linguistic profiles.
Selects the key terms, researches them in authoritative sources and locks them before translation.
Translates the document, applying the locked terminology and recording each translation choice.
Revises separately for meaning, completeness and style, against the locked terminology and the recorded choices.
Assesses the finished translation against the source and the purpose of the document, and gives the verdict.
The translation comes back with its Quality Report. You check, decide and sign off: with a second pair of eyes, or on the evidence alone.
On request, we keep your locked terminology on file, so every later document uses the same terms and your translations stay consistent over time.
Why Translyta
AI chatbots are built for fluency, not for translation. The typical risks grow with the length of the document: omissions, additions, inconsistent terms, invented content. And from the text alone, you cannot tell whether it is accurate or merely fluent.
Translyta is built on the same large language models as AI chatbots, but works like a professional translation team, with linguistic expertise at every step, up to the final assessment against the source. The Quality Report shows what was found.
One thing the translation is not: checked by a human before it reaches you. Translyta does the team’s work and shows the evidence. The human check is yours: bring in a reviser, or sign off on the evidence alone.
The underlying expertise is written out in a public reference of 158 entries.
Who it’s for
Most business documents never need a certified translation: reports, policies, manuals, websites. They still need to be right, with one term for one concept, first page to last.
When the wording carries legal effect, a plausible translation is not enough. Your in-house revision starts from researched terminology and a documented check against the source.

Confidentiality
Translyta runs on Claude under Anthropic’s commercial terms. Anthropic may not train its models on your documents: a contractual obligation, not a setting. What you share is confidential, and personal data falls under its data processing addendum.
After delivery, we delete the translation sessions from our environment. Anthropic deletes them within 30 days as standard. Only content flagged by its safety systems can be kept longer, for up to two years.

About
Translyta grew out of Dragoman Translations, an official and legal translation practice running since 2001. The pipeline is that practice rebuilt for AI: the same steps, in the same order, on every document.
Translyta was selected for Tech Istanbul’s 2026 pre-incubation program and will be set up as a company of its own. Until then, Translyta and Dragoman Translations are trade names of one registered business, and invoices carry the Dragoman name.
Comparative linguist (Leiden University), LangOps Pioneer and sworn translator, with published research on Turkic morphology. Lecturer and examiner at SIGV, the Dutch institute that qualified court interpreters and legal translators. Supported by a team of three in the Netherlands.
Maarten designed the pipeline and wrote its core: the principles, the rules and the linguistic profiles. He built a database-driven system for terminology research and maintenance.
He argued the case in a keynote at the 2026 Global Language Services Conference: translation is not a technical problem but a linguistic one. He tested the pipeline on the exams he once graded and kept rebuilding until it passed them all.
